Filed in Podcasts, Previous Episodes on January 13, 2022

Success can be deadly in business, leadership, and relationships.

When you’re used to winning and achieving, overconfidence and faulty logic can blind you to potential dangers up ahead.

Complacency costs money, decreases employee morale and performance, invites competition, and creates critical mistakes that will put your company, your brand, and your teams at risk.

Blending his 30+ years of brand marketing with his second-act experience as a Sheriff’s Deputy, Len Herstein joins Adam to share law enforcement-inspired business strategies to help you stay vigilant against threats like competition, predictability, bad habits, micromanagement, abuse of power, and industry change.

Discover:

  • Why past successes are setting you up for future failures, and how to avoid this common scenario;
  • A key part of being vigilant is questioning everything (even things that go right) – how to brief and debrief your way to continued success;
  • Why complacency makes us so vulnerable, and how can business leaders safeguard themselves against competition;
  • Why the way you’re reading your metrics is encouraging overconfidence, and how can we gauge our performance safely;
  • And much more!

Set yourself up for success and eradicate complacency before it begins. You don’t want to miss this episode.
